A month after the left cylinder was running on air, the right cylinder was ready for a test run as well. I decoupled the left connecting rod, and tested the right cylinder stand-alone. After some attempts it started to run, but only with a high air pressure, and loosing a lot of air, either in the valve or in the cylinder. That needs to be improved. Also the coupling rod on the right side is binding sometimes. More work to be done, but the first evidence of something working is there!!
Next steps are to investigate the issues, hook up the left cylinder again, and make the steam pipes to both right and left cylinders for the next test.
